Seed “Design action for the future”

The Seed Festival “Design action for the future” returns in September, in the evocative setting of S. Francesco al Prato in Perugia.

Seed is a collective seed for change where design culture and humanities meet to discuss the challenges and opportunities that await us, together with artists, scientists, philosophers, psychologists, economists, academics and entrepreneurs. 4 days dedicated to the future of the planet.

The theme of the 2024 edition: «Balances»

The dialogue with complexity means “measuring oneself” with emerging phenomena, with the limits and possibilities they offer, in the attempt to make needs and interests, sometimes conflicting, coexisting in harmony.

Seed investigates some key issues for the future of the planet, exposing them to accurate measurement and to a generative reflection of proposals, ideas, projects, policies and conscious choices. Each of the guests, architects, urban planners, designers, philosophers, psychologists, neuroscientists, artists, will interpret the proposed theme, “Balances”, from a variety of different perspectives and disciplinary fields, providing a broader and more articulated understanding of the contemporary condition.
