In Kirchberg, known for its enchanting landscape and picturesque mountain scenery, twin apartments, mirrored and similar but slightly different in size, emerge as prime examples of an avant-garde design that respects and blends with its context. This project, executed with meticulous attention to detail and a vision that transcends the traditional boundaries of alpine architecture, encapsulates a challenge: to create a contemporary environment that maintains an open dialogue with its natural surroundings.
The interior design approach was guided by an interplay of material contrasts, designed to emphasize the contemporary character of the intervention while remaining true to the mountain spirit. The choice of materials was central to this process: brass and etched steel meet alcantara fabric upholstery, wood and travertine, creating a combination that is both striking and harmonious. Brass, with its warmth and shine, contrasts with the coldness of etched steel, while alcantara adds a texture and softness that dialogues with the robustness and naturalness of wood. These materials not only define the space, but also tell a story of elegance, quality, and attention to detail.
The interior design moves away from the stylistic canons typical of the Tyrolean Alps, proposing instead an environment that is extremely elegant and contemporary. The clean, modern lines of the furnishings blend with traditional design elements, reinterpreted with a modern twist. The brightness of the spaces, enhanced by large windows, matches perfectly with the materials chosen, creating plays of light and shadow that change throughout the day and following the rhythm of the seasons.
Lighting, both natural and artificial, is designed to enhance each environment, emphasizing the beauty of the materials and creating warm and welcoming atmospheres. The use of hidden lights and designer lamps helps to create a unique visual experience that fits perfectly into the mountainous setting and at the same time transforms it.
The residential complex, with its architecture designed to minimize visual and environmental impact, is harmoniously integrated into the natural surroundings, as if to emphasize an unbreakable bond between man and nature.
Desir by Listone Giordano was chosen for the parquet, a detail that not only adds a touch of elegance and refinement to the interior, but also reflects the commitment to the use of high-quality materials. In addition, the wood flooring fits perfectly into the environment, enhancing the natural beauty of wood and helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in every room.
These apartments in Kirchberg thus represent a perfect balance between innovation and tradition, between contemporary comfort and respect for the mountain environment. They are spaces where everyday life is enriched with beauty and functionality, where design meets nature, creating an unprecedented living experience. In this vision, architecture is not just a means of creating spaces, but becomes a way of living and perceiving the world, in a perfect synthesis of aesthetics, comfort and sustainability.
